The challenge: Creating a logo and visual identity that captures the unique blend of science and storytelling that marketer Evan Ross is promising his clients.
The process: Starting with three moodboards, I helped Evan put words, shapes, and colors to his vision for StorySell. It became clear that the ideal direction consisted of layered objects, subtle textures, and a plenty of breathing room. I designed a clean, bold icon that hit on both the storytelling and the big dreams that Evan helps his clients achieve. Using high-contrasting styles of typography added to the visual identity, and black and white imagery paired with snapshots of the night sky helped round out the entire brand.
The result: Evan was ecstatic about his new look, and felt that it really captured his unique brand. The goal is that his potential clients who come across his website and social platforms will be struck his blend of big ideas and precise technique in marketing. The visual identity captures his brand and provides him the tools to grow StorySell into the leader in his niche.
