When prepping for a print project I usually start in CMYK but in this case I’m preparing something for a client that is obsessed with their vibrant purple branding (right side of below image) and it seems to become so flat once converted (left side of below image). I was playing around with injecting more blue and a lighter hue but I’m kinda depending on my monitor more than anything else in that case. It’s not a smart solution, I think. I don’t consider myself a noob but am I over thinking this?

r/graphic_design - are there any tricks for maintaining vibrancy when converting from RGB to CMYK?
