I’m on OS Big Sur 11.1 and work in column view. For some reason Finder windows open nice and wide by default so I can see everything in the sidebar and in the columns. However, InDesign has started showing collapsed Finder windows. For example, when I make a picture box and go to place the image inside, I get a collapsed Finder window like the attached. I can’t see anything in the Sidebar or anything in the columns. I pull them all out so I can view everything but it defaults back to being collapsed each time I try and place an image.
Anyone know of the solution to this so it opens nice and wide each time? It’s a real time waster having to manually stretch out the Sidebar and column widths.
