Need Help With Foil Stamping! Please! : graphic_design

I’m at my wits end and I feel like I’ve tried everything to get this to work.

I have a Brother HLL3290CDW

Printer Setup: black and white, text print, fine quality

Windows Photo Print Set up: Greyscale, heavyweight paper, manual feed

Paper: Neenah Heavyweight 110 Cardstock

Heat machine: Minc

Carriers: Plain paper, Cardstock paper, pouch that come with Minc machine, no carrier

Levels on Minc: I’ve tried 3-5 using all the different carriers

Number of Passes through Minc: 1-2 times

My results are always patchy where foil isn’t keeping to the paper completely.

Color Converter v0.2! : graphic_design

During Isolation I have been working on an ultimate 100% free to use color converter! Some of you may have seen my first post, which got some amazing feedback!

I would love to have a followup feedback round in honor of the completing all community requests! The next and final task on my to-do list is Pantone Conversions. Please let me know what you think, any ideas or more!

Color Blindness Simulation & Color Contrast

Following the community’s requests I’ve added in two new major features – the color contrast checker, assisting in the understanding of accessible text and background colors as per the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. The second being a color blindness simulation. There are few resources which allow developers/designers an insight into the perception of a color blind person along with other major design tools!

Additionally – I have included color blind palettes as well as developed my own – which is 100% accessible to people with all types of color blindness!

I made a traffic analytics app for GitHub repositories : w…

Landing page: https://trackgit.com

App dashboard: https://dashboard.trackgit.com

I wanted a little more insight on the traffic analytics for my repositories, so I made my own web app for it and I’m really excited to share it with everyone!

Without getting into the nitty-gritty details, the front-end is built with VueJS+TypeScript, and uses Halfmoon UI (built by u/tahm-hm-dev, see post). I’ve tried to make the UI/UX as intuitive and ✨frictionless✨ as I could for both the landing site and the dashboard. The server-side of things is in NodeJS+Firebase Cloud functions. And the front-end supports realtime updates on the dashboard!

This is the first time I’m doing a “launch” like this, so pardon my mistakes. I’d really appreciate any kind of feedback that this community has to offer – this app is for developers after all. I’ll be here for any questions you may have and you can also get in touch with me at support@trackgit.com.
