PageSpeed Insights got updated last night (altough the timing might vary for different regions?)
Two new metrics are now being considered, so you can get some new insights if you’re trying to go for speed.
Overall, I saw a drop in the total score in most of my properties, so it’s time for me to get back to it and implement some optimizations I’ve had in my backlog for some time… It’s never a good feeling to see orange numbers, but I find the metrics quite relevant and I believe it will be for the best after some upgrades on my side 🙂

Largest Contentful Paint marks the time at which the largest text or image is painted

Cumulative Layout Shift
Cumulative Layout Shift measures the movement of visible elements within the viewport
