Reddit world, help!

Im trying to convince my work place and to non designers why these analogous colors work:

and not this way:

Basically they’re saying white has the highest contrast – which i agree. But in this sense it wouldn’t really make sense for there too much of the secondary colors on the graphics unless the bg color changes.

If you’d like to go further into the though process, having white on the bottom next to the white logos makes it uniformed and avoids breaking the content up.

Depending on how you composition the content theres enough contrast between all of these analogous colors. Am i right, or merely based on opinion?

Trying to explain this to a bunch of non designers who make a lot more money than I do.
